Restaurant Photography & Videography Pricing in London

What restaurant photo and video shoots actually cost in London — from £450 reel packs to full-day, multi-photographer productions — and what to expect at each tier.

Restaurant content pricing in London is murky because every studio quotes a different shape — by the hour, by the dish, by the shoot day, by the deliverable. This is what each price tier really gets you in 2026, based on the rates we and our peers actually charge.

Reel pack — from £450

Three short-form reels, written, shot and edited for socials. Half a shoot day on site. A great fit for a new menu, a launch announcement, or a one-off offer you want to push through paid Meta.

You should expect: a script per reel, captions, on-screen text, and music cleared for paid use. Turnaround 5–7 working days.

Half-day shoot — from £550

Four hours on site. Photo OR video, not both. Around 25 edited photos or 3 short reels delivered, with full usage rights.

The sweet spot for: a seasonal menu refresh, refreshed website hero photography, or a quick set of cocktail reels for the summer.

Full-day shoot — from £950

Eight hours on site. Photo + video together. Around 50 edited photos and 5 reels delivered. This is what most retainer clients book once a month.

You should expect: a written shot list before the day, continuous lighting, a stylist option, and a delivery within 10 working days. Rush turnaround (48 hours) is usually £200 extra.

Full-day production — from £1,800

Two-person crew (photographer + videographer), light kit, sound, and either a stylist or a chef-collaborator on the day. Used for hero brand launches, press shoots and refreshed press kits.

You should expect: a treatment document before the day, a producer on set, and a full set of master files plus platform-optimised cuts within 10 working days.

Monthly content day — from £600 / month (in retainer)

Bundled inside a Starter retainer: one half-day shoot every month, plus the captions, scheduling and posting. This is how most of our clients run their content — predictable cost, predictable output, no last-minute panic.

See Restaurant Social Media Management London for how it fits with the full social retainer.

What changes the quote

Three things drive the price up or down:

  • Travel time outside London. Inside the M25 is included; we charge mileage for venues further out.
  • Stylist day rate. For plated food and cocktails, a stylist costs around £350/day and pays for itself in the final shots.
  • Edit volume. Editing is the longest part of a shoot. More dishes and more reels takes more time.

What you should not be quoted

  • Per-photo "licensing fees" after a delivered shoot. You should own the files outright.
  • Watermarks on the final delivery. You paid for the content.
  • "Rush fees" on a standard turnaround. Standard should already be 5–10 working days.
